DTY (Draw Textured Yarn)
DTY (draw-textured yarn) polyester yarn is a filament produced through continuous or simultaneous stretching and texturing on a texturing machine. It is suitable for a variety of textile applications.
Excellent Elasticity: A special stretch-texturing process imparts excellent elasticity. After being stretched, it quickly returns to its original shape and length. Compression garments made from this highly elastic DTY yarn stretch with the body during exercise and quickly return to their original shape afterward, providing a consistently comfortable fit.
Excellent Bulkiness: During the processing process, the fibers develop a complex, curly and bulky structure, increasing the interfiber spaces and imparting a high loft to the fabric. This bulk not only creates a fuller, thicker appearance but also enhances its warmth retention.
Soft Handfeel: Due to its curly and bulky structure, DTY yarn has a relatively soft handfeel and is less irritating when worn next to the skin.
